Professional Home office

Active home professionals require the same efficiency and space as the office professional. This unit was custom designed to accommodate 2 work stations along with ample space for archiving files and an extensive reference library. However, it needed to blend with the existing décor throughout the home and not look like office furniture. The owners commissioned an architect for design continuity and contacted Profiles in Wood, Inc to turn their bonus room into a real asset. Complete with granite top, indirect lighting and subtle carpet, the results are stunning as well as functional.

The owners also wanted to incorporate a state of the art entertainment center that complemented their office. The large panel doors retract into the cabinet to revel the plasma TV and other digital components. The wall speakers were built in during construction so the design needed to accommodate their locations. The lighted birch displays on either side softens the transition from office to living space.
